Long Beach St. at St. John's
When: 7:30 PM ET, Monday, December 22, 2014
Where: Carnesecca Arena, Queens, New York

No. 23 St. John's puts a five-game winning streak on the line when it concludes a four-game home stretch Monday night against Long Beach State. The Red Storm are 6-0 at Carnesecca Arena this season, including a 53-47 comeback win over Saint Mary's on Friday night. A victory would give St. John's its first 10-1 start to a season since the 1990-91 season under Hall of Fame head coach Lou Carnesecca.

St. John's used a 27-8 run to start the second half to overcome a 33-18 halftime deficit against Saint Mary's and will now be playing a Long Beach State squad that narrowly lost at No. 17 San Diego State (60-59) and at No. 9 Texas (78-69) earlier on this road trip. "These two games allow us to simulate conditions we'll face in the NCAA Tournament," St. John's coach Steve Lavin said after the Saint Mary's victory. "We knew coming in that we would have a difficult task at hand with Saint Mary's, and Monday's game will also be a great test with Long Beach State."

TV: 7:30 p.m. ET, CBS Sports Network
