Men's College Basketball
Jacksonville at South Florida
When: 2:00 PM ET, Saturday, November 29, 2014
Where: USF Sun Dome, Tampa, Florida

After bouncing back from its first loss of the season with a win over Hofstra last time out, USF hosts Jacksonville on Saturday looking to start another winning streak before hitting the road. The Bulls trailed by 11 points with less than four minutes to play against the Pride before rallying to make coach Orlando Antigua proud of their resiliency. "They just keep battling," he told reporters. "They just keep competing."

Chris Perry's hot start to the season hit a bit of a bump against Hofstra as the sophomore center scored a season-low eight points amid foul trouble, but his biggest contribution - the go-ahead layup with seven seconds remaining - certainly left its mark. "He gave me that little look like he was ready," Antigua said of Perry in the waning minutes. "And I said, 'Alright, let's go, Chris. You go make this play.'" The Dolphins snapped a three-game skid by knocking off Trinity Baptist 69-57 last time out.

TV: 2 p.m. ET, ESPN3

ABOUT JACKSONVILLE (2-4): After the Dolphins turned double-digit scoring efforts from four players into their second win of the season, coach Tony Jasick was left encouraged following the disappointment from their recent losing streak. "I thought we got into a little bit of a lull the last week," he told reporters. "That's how we want to play." Andris Misters is Jacksonville's leading scorer, averaging 11.8 points, and Kori Babineaux is right behind at 11.5 while adding a team-high 4.7 rebounds.

ABOUT USF (4-1): Perry's scoring average of 15 points is a team high, giving him a share of fourth place among American Athletic Conference players alongside East Carolina's Caleb White. Corey Allen Jr. contributes 13.2 points - also among the top 10 in the conference - while newcomer Nehemias Morillo, a junior transfer from Monroe College, also has been a key contributor by averaging 11.4 while leading the team with a 42.9 percent success rate from beyond the arc. The Bulls are shooting a conference-best 49.6 percent from the field, led by freshman swingman Bo Zeigler (57.1 percent), Perry (52.6) and point guard Anthony Collins (52.9).

1. USF has won three straight meetings with the Dolphins and is 24-21 in the all-time series.

2. Jacksonville has lost five straight road games dating back to last season and 10 of its last 11.

3. Collins' 7.4 assists per game leads the AAC and ranks ninth in the nation.

PREDICTION: USF 75, Jacksonville 59
